The United Nations

Since its founding in 1945 the United Nations has let the way in developing and promoting human rights. The three overarching agreements are The Universal Declaration on Human Rights, The International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights and The International Covenant on Economic Social and Cultural Rights. Together these three are known as the  INTERNATIONAL BILL OF HUMAN RIGHTS
